How to layout an 8000 tpd crushed stone production line?
This 8,000-ton-per-day crushed aggregate production line is designed based on an effective daily operation duration of 16 hours, achieving a stable finished output of approximately 500 tons per hour. Drawing on extensive experience in large-scale aggregate projects, LI Ming provides differentiated complete process solutions according to raw material hardness. The whole line adopts a three-stage closed-circuit crushing process, suitable for processing common stone materials such as limestone, granite and basalt. The finished aggregates comply with material standards for road infrastructure, ready-mixed concrete and other projects.
The complete workflow of the production line consists of raw material feeding, primary crushing, secondary & fine crushing, screening and classification, as well as finished product transfer, supported by environmental dust removal and intelligent control systems.
For soft stones like limestone, the mainstream configuration combines jaw crusher + impact crusher. For high-hardness ores such as granite and basalt, a jaw crusher matched with a hydraulic cone crusher is adopted. This configuration effectively cuts consumption of wear parts, optimizes aggregate particle shape and lowers the proportion of elongated and flaky particles.

Proven mainstream LI Ming models are selected as core main machines. The front end is equipped with F5X Series Variable-frequency Vibrating Feeder with built-in pre-screening function to separate soil impurities and ensure uniform and continuous feeding.
The primary crushing section uses C6X European Type Jaw Crusher to process large raw stones; medium and fine crushing is completed by CI5X Impact Crusher or HPT Multi-cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher for material size reduction. Multiple sets of S5X Multi-layer Vibrating Screens are deployed at the rear for multi-stage screening. Oversized materials are conveyed back for re-crushing via belt conveyors to form closed-loop production.
If high-quality crushed aggregates are required, VSI6X Vertical Shaft Impact Shaping Crusher can be added to further optimize particle morphology.
The production line is equipped with a full set of sealed belt conveyors for material transfer. Dust suppression facilities are arranged at all transfer points, paired with pulse dust collectors to meet environmental requirements for green mines.
The whole production line is fitted with a centralized PLC intelligent control system, which enables real-time monitoring of operating parameters including main machine load, temperature and current. It reduces on-site staffing and facilitates operation and maintenance.
If site conditions permit, intermediate silos can be installed to buffer material fluctuations and guarantee continuous and stable operation of the whole line.
