What Precautions to Check Before Using Cone Crusher

1.Clear out any debris inside the cone crusher before you start it up.

2.Check if the cone crusher unit and electrical wiring are set up correctly. Make sure all connecting parts and bolts are tightened evenly and securely.

3.Motor solo test: Disconnect the coupling first. Turn the motor by hand to see if it spins smoothly. Jog the motor briefly to confirm the rotation direction. Run the motor nonstop for at least four hours to test its performance—check vibration, noise and bearing temperature. No odd vibration or noise is allowed, and bearing temperature cannot go over 60°C.

4.No-load trial run: Once the solo motor test finishes, fit the reducer and coupling back in place. Watch closely for these points during empty operation:

5.Start the cone crusher’s motor at the same time; rollers must spin in matching directions; bearing temperature cannot exceed 75°C; listen to the reducer to make sure it runs with normal sound.

After the no-load test, inspect the whole machine to see if anything changed from before the test. Fix any changes and reset everything back to its original state.
