Which crushing machines are suitable for granite stone processing?

Based on the physical properties of granite, three types of crushing equipment are recommended: jaw crusher, cone crusher and impact crusher. All of them are ideal choices for crushing high-hardness stone, each with unique features. They are respectively used for primary crushing, secondary crushing and fine crushing of granite.

(1) Jaw Crusher

The jaw crusher is a well-known primary crushing machine in the aggregate industry. It can handle raw materials of different hardness and size for primary crushing. It features high output capacity, strong processing performance and simple structure. Its maximum feed size reaches 1280 mm, with production capacity ranging from 160 to 1510 tons per hour, delivering excellent crushing effect for granite.

(2) Cone Crusher

The cone crusher is a secondary crushing device. It can process granite with a feed size below 370 mm to make finished aggregate. It adopts compression crushing principle, so it works perfectly for high-hardness materials. It causes little wear to the machine, its wearing parts are durable, and the later maintenance cost for granite crushing is low.

Cone crushers are divided into single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher and spring cone crusher. They differ in performance and technical level, with hourly output ranging from 45 to 2130 tons. Users can choose the right model according to their actual needs.

(3) Impact Crusher

The impact crusher is also known as a sand making machine. It can directly produce finished manufactured sand with good particle shaping effect. The finished sand has excellent grain shape and uniform particle size, which is widely applicable in the construction industry.
